OUR IMPORT PROCESS
1.
Bidding Out the Project
After receiving your plans or performing a property walk, our team will prepare a bid for you, individually pricing out each of the materials that we can provide with detailed schedules. We guarantee 1-week turnarounds on all our bids
2.
Approval and First Payment
Once you choose us to be your vendor, you then approve the material schedule and spec list (and shop drawings for custom products) after which we collect the initial payment ranging between 25% to 50% of the total project cost
3.
Manufacturing
Once we receive payment, our partner manufacturers start working on your order. General production timelines range between 6 to 12 weeks. All our manufacturers are carefully vetted and have continual QC checks
4.
Second Payment and Shipment
After all the products are manufactured we take a second installment to reach 75% of your total project cost. The materials are then shipped directly to your project site - this usually takes between 6 to 8 weeks.
5.
Delivery and Final Payment
After the containers reach your project site, the shipping team will unload the materials (palletized) - we can also warehouse the material for you nearby as needed. The final payment for the remaining 25% of total project cost is due on net 30 terms after delivery. Any additional savings we incurred during shipping or manufacturing are then relayed on to you

Do you offer turnkey/installation options?Depending on the market, product and scope of the project we can offer a turnkey service. If we are unable to provide the install, we will help find you an installation partner you will be happy with.

How do you ensure high quality products?With over 25 years of experience in the space, we have created a process to vet and carefully select each of our manufacturers. We also have ongoing quality control monitoring for any factories we don't have extensive relationships with. We also ensure that the factories and products we select meet the all standards, tests and requirements for the municipality of the project

What if we need a product you don't currently offer?Our boots on the ground team in Vietnam, China and India can help source a factory for any finish building material as necessary

Do we (the customer) have to interact with the factory?No - as the distributor, we handle all communication with factories and guarantee the final product. If there are any issues throughout the process or with the final product, we will ensure that they are fixed before they reach you.

Do you have a minimum order size?Our minimum order size for importing material is 1 container. Our domestic minimums depend on the product

How long does the average order take?After the order is placed, manufacturing of your product generally takes between 6 to 10 weeks, and shipping takes another 6 to 8 weeks - total timelines generally range between 12 to 18 weeks (usually on the shorter end of the range)

What if I need product sooner?If needed, we are able to rush factories for a fee. We stock some of our most popular products domestically and have partner distributors who carry a wide range of products at great pricing. Although this option will not be as cost efficient as importing directly, we can deliver your order as quickly as 3 days after ordering.
